5 Tips On How You Can Change Your Life!

1. Wake up early:

Waking up early gives you a chance to be productive while everyone else is asleep. It gives your mind the boost of creativity it needs, it gives you more time to plan out things and waking up early means that you’re serious about your work/business/job/career. It’s not an easy task to wake up early but those who do, they always climb the ladder of success.

2. Look Good:

Yes, this may sound strange but taking your time to look good will help raise your self-confidence, motivate you, and will trigger your mind into thinking that today is an important day; a day you shouldn’t miss out on.

3. Make time for yourself:

I believe this is the most important aspect of our lives as we get so busy with our daily life/work that we forget to make time for ourselves. Selfcare is truly important if we want to reach our goals and fulfill our dreams. We must take at least 10 minutes every day to journal, to smile, to do something that makes us happy and you will soon see a change in your life because you’re not just working your butt off but you’re rewarding yourself for it as well.

4. Make time for workouts:

I am a fitness freak and if I don’t work out even for a day, my body literally breaks down and I feel stressed, bloated, and unhealthy. As a result, I am unable to work properly and I tend to get a lot of writer’s block (apparently, I always have to resort to caffeine for that which is very unhealthy) So, get your body moving; be it for a walk, jog, or just going for grocery shopping. Do not be lazy because a moving body gives you a productive mind. Working out is beneficial for your body and not only will it make you look better but feel better too.

5. Identify Your Goals:

This is another crucial step you must take every single day. Knowing your goals and dreams is significant if you want to see successful results. You need to plan your day, week, month, and year accordingly, you need to adjust your lives and you also need to tend to your daily needs without making others frown. How are you going to do that? by planning and by having a strong and positive mindset. You can’t just break down because you chose this path and you must reach your destination. How long will you stay in a hotel or Airbnb? Not long right? Think of your life that way and pursue your goals. Recall why you’re doing what you’re doing and trust me, you will be in charge of your mind, not the opposite.

USA TRIP

Hello guys! I hope you’re all doing well. So finally, I’m in San Francisco, (Santa Clara) at my cousins house and I’m truly enjoying the weather and the atmosphere. I came here at 4th feb so I basically was travelling and sleeping all day haha.

Emirates is one of my favorite and preferred flights and this trip was truly amazing! Do you know why? Because my meals were all GLUTEN-FREE! Yaasss! It was delicious, healthy and I didn’t even have any gut problems lol. I already chose the information while checking in so they gave me the meals from time to time but a bit too early from the rest of the passengers. So it was like I was the only one eating and my family had to wait for another half hour or so till they got their regular meals which was a big bummer because I clearly don’t like eating alone.

Once I got to my aunt’s house, she made us dinner so we talked a little, ate a little and then I went back to sleep.

I thought I would be jet-lagged but surprisingly, I’m not which is very weird…But, it’s all good and I can’t wait for all the excitement in the future.

Today I also went to Costco and Target and bought a 2020 planner for myself. My old one is finished so I’m glad I got that sorted out. Even though I am on vacation, I am still working, meaning completing the projects by clients gave me.

Hm…oh! I almost forgot. I also got a Fitbit Inspire HR and I’m loving it! It’s tracking everything; from sleep, calories, steps to water. It’s just perfect. I just need to keep a watch on my diet because one wrong step, and everything could go back to how it was.

And although my parents are telling me to not workout since we’re on a vacation, I just can’t bring myself to stay still all the time. I’m not used to it. It’s like my body was built for exercising…Even so, Imma observe my surroundings for a few more days and then schedule my routine. I’m sure I can find the perfect timing to de-stress myself.

It’s 2:08 am now so I’m just going to schedule this for today morning so that you all can read my post when you wake up!

I’m just happy to be here in U.S and with my family and there’s a whole lot of adventure awaiting for me which I can’t wait to share with you all! Thank you for your love and support and see you in my next post~

How to Love Yourself?

This is a question that many people tend to ignore. How to love yourself? It’s not something that you can habitually attain, but just like everything and anything else, you must learn to do it.

Loving yourself isn’t as hard as you think it is. It’s not like you have to stay hours in the gym just to get that perfect figure or spend hours in the kitchen to perfect that dish. No, all it takes is a simple mindset and some tweaks in your daily life that will make you love yourself no matter what people say.

  1. Always set an Inspiring Goal – Because without goals, you won’t have the motivation or purpose to live an enjoyable and successful life. You’ll always end up feeling down and we can’t have that kind of negative energy if we want to live a good and happy life. Therefore, always set an inspiring goal such as; ‘Learning how to Drive’, or, ‘Publishing a Poetry Book’, or, ‘Becoming a successful Blogger/Vlogger,’ These kinds of goals will set you apart from the rest of your family and friends and you will also be thrilled to continue to pursue your dreams.
  2. Ask yourself from time to time; What do you love about yourself? Surely, there must be something that you love about yourself? For example, your nose. You might have a pretty nose, or your face, your eyes or even your arms or booty. Perhaps, there’s something about your nature that you love? You might be kind, caring, supportive, a good listener. It can be anything but it’s up to you to find out what it is that you love about yourself? Always ask this question at the beginning or end of the day so that you can strive to do more good and be someone’s perfect role model.
  3. It’s now time to Thank Your Body because unlike many other who are suffering out there, you don’t have cancer or other illnesses that makes you look sick (May God Heal them too) You’re healthy, you’re beautiful and even if you don’t have abs or toned arms and legs, your body is normal and you’re still fitting into your favorite dresses, so that’s something to be thankful of. This year too, don’t forget to take care of your body because if you become lazy in that, then your entire year might go down the hill. The main gear of our life is indeed our body. If we struggle to keep it healthy and fit, our lives will turn out to be more independent, confident and wonderful!
  4. Always Forgive Yourself because we aren’t AI robots (well, AI too makes mistakes sometimes) but we’re human beings and we make mistakes. We’re not perfect; no matter how clean your house is or how good you’re in math. We all made/make mistakes but what will give us the chance to continue with our life is if we forgive and tell ourselves that life is a series of ups and downs and we must learn to embrace our mistakes and reset our lives every time we fall back down. We can’t just stop playing a game just because we aren’t able to fight the big boss at the end, right? No, we continue because we had come a long way and turning back now would be like giving up. So, we fight the villain until we’ve won and we actually do win in the end; somehow…but we do.
  5. Last but not the least, Stop Comparing Yourself to others. We’re all different in our own ways. Again, we’re not robots, we’re human beings and we come in all shapes and sizes. If you keep on comparing yourself to others, you won’t be able to achieve anything because you’re automatically telling yourself that ‘that guy/girl is better than me and I won’t be able to do it.’ See, that’s so much pessimism right there! Just throw that thought out of your mind and focus on yourself. Focus on your goals and see how fast you’ll drive the car to success or to your desired goals/dreams.

I hope these 5 simple tips will help you start the new year with much strength and confidence. Don’t worry, everything will be alright. We all have a long way to go but we have to start somewhere, don’t we? Let’s not get busy with what the world wants or thinks, let’s focus on what we want and let’s strive to be happy for ourselves.

Finally In Dubai!

D-1 in Dubai
Finally, my dreams had come true. I wanted change in my life, and I got it. I love traveling and when Dad said we were going to Dubai, my heart burst out of happiness. I love Dubai, I love it’s culture, it’s delicacies, it’s scenery and its people.
Dubai is a place where I feel the safest. Actually, all of Middle East feels the safest for me, of course, in terms of women.
Anyway, we booked our ticket and just waited for the day to come when I would place my feet on the soft sand of Dubai.
September 26th. 
My flight was on 10:00 am, so I got up at around 5:30, prayed my morning prayer, took a cold shower since it would help kill my sleepiness and ate two slices of brown bread with butter and jam. I took a cab and left for the airport that was just 20 minutes away from my house.
It took an hour for the check-in and the immigration to complete. After that I drank some eye-opening Karak Chai at an Indian stall. By the time I reached my gate, my boarding had already started.
I always choose Emirates because it’s comfortable. It has spacious seats, patient and loving air host and hostess and savory foods. Also, they have got a wide range of latest Movies and T.V shows you can watch on their channel called ICE.
Unfortunately, that long list of movies confuse me every single time. Like there are so many things I want to watch, but so little time! I selected a few, but I couldn’t concentrate on it. Perhaps it wasn’t interesting, or I was too sleepy.
However, in the end, I watched Ferdinand. It was a good movie and it surely made me laugh. There is another half hour left for me to complete though…I don’t know when I’ll do that…
Since it was already around 11, they gave us lunch. I like non-veg, but I didn’t feel like eating chicken curry and rice, so I chose veg. They gave me potato and bring all fry, with rice and dal. On the sides was a lentil salad with tomato and cucumbers. Bread with butter. Mango pickle and for the dessert, there was rasmalai. It’s a saffron cottage cheese dish that’s dipped in with sweet condensed milk. It’s definitely a must try! For the drink, I asked for orange juice but I don’t know if she heard me wrong or if she didn’t have it at that moment, but she gave me apple juice.
Anywho, I like apple juice too so no complains.
When there was just an half hour left for the flight to land, I took a nap because my eyelids were heavy. I usually don’t sleep I the flight if the journey is short, but since I woke up early, I couldn’t help it.
After taking my suitcases, I prayed my afternoon prayer and got out. However, we first needed to rent a car since we are planning to stay in Dubai for quite some time. Unfortunately, we dropped the idea of renting a car from Dubai because it was too expensive. Like the least expensive car for rent was coming around 2000 AED and the most expensive was around 4000 AED.
We couldn’t afford it because we had to pay for the hotel too. So, we took a taxi and went to Sharjah to stay for the night so that dad could rent a car from here, plus, he had some work to take care of as well. But once again, we dropped that idea too because the hotel wasn’t a hotel apartment; like with the kitchen and the washing machine and stuff and it was expensive too.
After pondering for a while, we came to Ajman. We searched for few hotels until we found an affordable one with a nice sea view near the port. From the hotel we are staying now, you can see the ships and the old types city that don’t have tall buildings or anything.

It’s truly stunning. But from the other window, you can see another city with skyscrapers and sunset.

After coming to our apartment that’s on the seventeenth floor, me and dad went out again in the heat to bring water bottles and something to eat because we were super hungry and tired!
We both first went to this hyper market that’s just a few blocks away from the hotel and bought water bottles, tea, milk, sugar and washing machine powder. Right opposite the market, there is a tea house. I ate chicken Shawarma because when you come to Dubai, that’s the first thing you need to eat to satisfy your hunger. Mom, dad and my sis ate fried chicken bucket with tea.

After that, dad went to work and me, mom and sis slept for a while. We didn’t do much until after we prayed our last prayer of the night, I took my mom and sister to a restaurant that was beside the tea house for dinner because dad said he would come home late from work. Since we had to stay in budget, we ate chilly chicken and butter chicken with chapati and thumbs up that refreshed me completely! Ah…the fizz just shot open my eyes. The dinner came around 30 AED for three people.
The food was delicious. After all, it was a Malabar restaurant. There were hard-working people and a fine lady served us. She took care of our needs quite well. We enjoyed our dinner but mom wanted to take some things from the hyper market, so we went there. Again.
We strolled around a little, took some more essential stuff and came back home.
I was exhausted and I wanted to sleep, but I also had to wait for dad to come.
So, until dad arrived, I watched a movie with mom because I didn’t had the energy to even write my blog or my novel.
Nonetheless, I had a good day. I just hope we don’t go back to my hometown soon…
I probably won’t do anything tomorrow so it would just be a waste of time to write about it.
But once I do something interesting, I’ll let you guys know for sure!

Home Alone

What do you do when you’re home alone?

I always go out with my parents; be it grocery shopping or for some random business work, but sometimes when I don’t have the mood.to get up and get ready, I tend to stay at home in my warm PJ’s and just take a day off doing nothing.

As soon as my parents leave, I grab my cookie jar, sit in front of my T.V/Laptop and watch something that I had been thinking of watching for the past month.

Its actually fun and calming to see something while thinking nothing and having no sounds around you. You’re just you. Your own best friend. You laugh, cry and get scared by yourself. It’s like you’re in an apocalyptic world, you know.

But, eventually, I end up texting my mom or dad and asking them where they are right now and how much time will it take for them to come home.

One Way (A Poem)

 

There’s only one way.
It would be hard, I know, but I also that I’ll survive.

Road to success doesn’t come easy,
There will be thorns, fire, hail storms and wars,
But deep inside, I know I was born to walk this path,
This dangerous road that leads to satisfaction.

One way,
No left, no right,
Just straight ahead I walk.
Killing the regret, the sorrow, and the pain,
Holding hope, faith and trust’s hand.

I cry, I scream, I lose self-control and patience,
But now, here I am, standing with the crown.

It was my belief that brought me here,
Just like an exodus, a path without fear.

I am now at the top,
Filled with joy and pride,
I never thought In my dreams that I would come this far,
With only a single path.

Recipe For A Perfect Life

Recipe for a perfect life

Servings – 1| Prep Time – 30 minutes| Total Time – It’s up to you

Ingredients

3 cups / Love

2 cups / Hope

1 cup / Faith

½ tsp / Humor

1/3 tsp / Sarcasm

1/3 tsp / Sweetness of your choice, it can be charity, feeding the poor or helping the needy.

 

Directions

Pre-heat the oven at 180°c. Once pre-heated, take Betty Crocker’s chocolate mix and bake it for you and only you.

Meanwhile, breathe in and out, ponder over your life choices and think of ways to make your life better and beautiful.

The more you anticipate the cake, the more you have to workout to maintain your body and your mind. Also don’t forget to spice up your life with a little cinnamon and kindness every day. It really helps in weight loss and keeping strong your relationships.

Lastly, don’t stress yourself too much and just eat the cake that’s now ready to be cut and served with vanilla ice cream and hot sauce, with a cherry on top.
