7 Travel Tips You Need To Learn Now

Travelling is fun and also good for the health. When you’re sad or stressed out, the best thing to do is just book a ticket to your favorite destination and pack your bags because nothing is more beautiful than seeing a different view and connecting with diverse cultures and lifestyles.

So, to make your trip memorable from the beginning till the end, let me tell you seven travel tips that’ll make your trip composed and hasslefree.

1) Pack light – The heavier your bag gets, the more you’ll regret adding unncessary stuff in it. Hold back and take only what you think you’ll need. And no, you don’t need that big bag of assorted chocolates or that heavily studded denim jacket.

2) Make a list – Make a list of things you want to see, or delicacies you want to try. You can’t expect to find free Wi-fi everywhere you go. A list will make things easier for you.

3) Have patience – When you’re travelling, no matter how careful you are, bad things happen. Like for one, you missed your train, or your credit card isn’t working, or someone stole your backpack. But don’t fret, take a deep breath and think with a calm mind what you have to do next. “Anxiousness can lead to further disasters.” Travelling is all about patience.

4) Make extra copies of your passport and other important documents – Stuff them deep inside your bag or suitcase, just in case.

5) Always keep your phone charged and carry a powerbank – Powerbanks have made our life so much facile. Travelling drains the batteries quickly. But of course, don’t forget to charge your powerbank as well.

6) Carry a first aid kit – It’s a must. It can be small, but it’s a must.

7) Stay hydrated – Wherever you are, always carry a water bottle with you. Staying hydrated keeps your body active and mind focused. Keep taking small sips from time to time. Most importantly, keeping yourself hydrated will help you fight off that jet-lag!

I hope you guys use this beneficial tips the next time you’re travelling. And if you already know them, then kudos to you. But if you didn’t, then you’re welcome.

Travel safe!

Mini Review of LEGO Ninjago Movie

Movie Title – LEGO Ninjago Movie

Genre – Animated/Comedy/Adventure

Summary of the movie – A disdained teenager named Lloyd a.k.a Green Ninja, along with his fellow ninjas and the evil warlord Garmadon who happens to be Lloyd’s father, sets out on a journey to save Ninjago from utter destruction by Meowthra, the kitty.

Regardless of its reviews, I watched the movie and unexpectedly liked it. Well, not that much, but it was enjoyable and hilarious. The silly jokes made me laugh, the story line was good, the characters were all fun to be with, I love Jackie Chan and I like LEGO’s so for me, it was just another pleasurable movie night. The bond between an evil father and a good son was pretty amusing. The story of how the Green Ninja’s a.k.a Lloyd’s parents met touched me. I’ve no complains with how the story went or even the ridiculous yet logical jesters. LEGO was successful in bringing a smile to my face.

I like all the characters, especially Garmadon because of his absurd ways of destroying Ninjago and his on-point jokes that literally made me cackle. Not to mention, I like Kai just because it’s Kai (If you’re into Kpop, you’ll know what I mean…hehe)

However, I don’t recommend this movie to those who don’t want to waste their time. Adults would definitely feel bored halfway through the movie but for those who just want to pass some time, and who have the patience to really sit and finish the movie, who have the tolerance to understand the quick jokes, then good for them, this is the absolute movie.

Rating – 7/10

Mini Review of Tomb Raider [2018]

“Death is not an adventure.”

Like everyone else, I’m a huge fan of Tomb Raider and obviously, I would’ve high expectations from the movie. Tomb Raider is about a story of a girl named Lara Croft who goes on an unexpected adventure to find his DOA dad who had left on a supernatural mission seven years ago to an uninhabited island called Yamatai that rests in the middle of the devil’s sea.

I went to the premiere last night and I kind of missed a little part from the beginning, but I had got the hang of what was going on. I was eager to find out if it was going to be just like the game or even better than that and I actually thought it was pretty good until…I started to get disappointed. Yes, I said it, it was not how and what I was expecting it to be. Tomb Raider is such an epic and unforgettable game and the movie should’ve been so much better or at-least similar to the game but I’m sorry to say, they ruined it. I mean, it wasn’t that bad, but neither was it good. It was an average movie with too much action for one’s mind to swallow in.

For one, I also felt that the plot was going too fast, too soon. There wasn’t enough time for the development of the characters and talking about characters, there weren’t any sub characters that were deemed important in the game! Where’s our Sam? Our Roth and my favorite, Alex? Ok, I might be asking for too much, but I’m just so frustrated right now that I can’t help it! The trailer gave me so much hope and, in the end, I got betrayed. There were some personality changes in the characters we already know but that doesn’t seem like a big issue to me (honestly, it does but if I complain too much, TR fans might curse me out)

There were scenes that were taken from the game but everything all happened so swiftly in the first half of the movie that in the second half, it all just became plain boring. It was not like I didn’t like the movie, the movie was interesting; it had the aspects of a Tomb raider and the Alicia Vikander’s performance was satisfactory too but the modifications of the minor parts that in fact, play the major roles wasn’t the dish I enjoyed. The story of Queen Himiko too was changed (drastically, at that) There was no Oni, no storm guards and they in effect, they mixed the two TR games in one. I felt that the pieces were kind of jumbled and could’ve gone well if they didn’t mix the parts and kept it as it was.

I liked the ending though because it clearly told us that they will be a sequel; another adventure! I seriously don’t know what to expect from the next part but I’m having my fingers crossed because I sense that this part was just a trial to see how the viewers who don’t know TR as much as we gamers do, react. Some of you might enjoy the movie to its full extent, some of you might have the same problem mingling it as I did and we can’t even say that it’s the best movie out there right now but it did give us a good watch and maybe, I would recommend it to all those who love a little adventure or are hectic TR fans (just don’t expect much good reviews from the fans, that’s all)

7 places I’d like to visit.

“Fill your life with adventures, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.”

I love travelling but I only got a few chances to do so. I have a list to where I want to go. I want to go on an endless adventure with a companion. Its what life is about. We must live to our fullest. We must see what lies on the other side of the vast Earth. Man, if I had enough money, I would pack my bags and would already be at the airport.

I have travelled to San Francisco, L.A and Dubai but here’s a short list of places I’d like to visit if I ever get the chance to:-

  1. Morocco also known as the Kingdom of Morocco. Why? Because it’s such a great and beautiful place. The environment is the same as it was ages ago. I have recently read a post about a female traveler who went to Morocco and I believe what she said was entirely true. I will give you the link to her post so that you can all know what a great place it is and how kind and loving Moroccans are. https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2017/08/226048/morocco-eyesfemale-traveler/
  2. South Africa. Why? It’s such a boundless country. I asked my dad to take me there. I want to see their Wildlife with my own eyes. See the true beauty of the nature and the people.
  3. Japan. In fact, this place should have been in the top. Why? I have been in love with Japanese Culture since, hell, for a long time. I was around thirteen or fourteen years of age when me and sister found out about Anime. Since then, I wanted to visit Japan. I love their culture, their food and their etiquettes. It surprises me how progressive and competitive they are in diverse matters.
  4. Madagascar. Why? Many a people said it’s a great place if you want a little safari adventure. Also, I read in a post that this massive island is home to thousands of species that are found nowhere else on the earth! I’m slightly afraid of the climate changes but like one says, “Escape the ordinary.”
  5. Australia. Why? It’s dreamy, captivating and I want to see Sydney.
  6. Norway, officially Kingdom of Norway. Why? I don’t know, it just feels like such a gorgeous place. And it is often said that the northern parts of Norway are the best places in the world to see the northern lights.
  7. Korea. Why? I’m to an extent obsessed to go to Seoul. If I had the chance right away, I wouldn’t hesitate to go there. I have watched a lot of K-drama’s and movies and Seoul looks so stunning. I don’t know what’s so stunning about it but I would like to go there at-least once. I want to try Korean cuisine and I want to dig deep into their culture. P.S. my novel the 13: We all Start as Strangers is situated in Seoul, so go check that out too. Link is right here! http://www.lulu.com/shop/aaliyah-s/the-13-we-all-start-as-strangers/ebook/product-22913798.html
  8. You know what? Make that 8. I want to go the moon. It’s always been my dream and I think I would actually die without ever going there…

For now, these are the places I’m eager to go to. If anyone will send me a ticket, feel          free. (JK!)

Which of the places do you guys want to visit? Let me know in the comments!

And see you in the next post, guys.
