A Simple Tragic Love Story

Once upon a time, there lived a girl who couldn’t see.
Then came a boy who could see.

They bumped into each other, like any other love story.
Like any other love story, they fell in love as if it was all meant to be.

The boy loved the girl although she couldn’t see.
The girl loved the boy even though she couldn’t see.

Both of them spent some time together, in beaches, in empty rooms, in the park, and sometimes between the bricked alleys; whispering and laughing.

Those days were the best days of her life. She wished she could see him, and perhaps live with him for a lifetime.

But you don’t get everything what you ask for. Sometimes stories have to be left as tragic as they were. To give meaning to their life, to give emotions to their feelings.

One day, the boy hugged the girl. That day she wanted to repeat. She wanted to be in a loop.

Then one day, he kissed her on the cheek. Oh, how she wanted to stop time in that moment and feel the warmth of his lips.

She cried that day. He wiped her tears. She didn’t feel bad that she couldn’t see, but she felt bad for him that he fell in love with her. With a blind girl who would one day eventually fall down and wouldn’t be back up on her feet.

A few days passed, the boy didn’t meet her. She asked the nurse where he was, the nurse said he was resting because of his sickness.

She asked the nurse to take her to him, she refused to do so and walked away.
The girl waited for a few more days. It was painful, her chest was tightening, but she stayed on her bed anyway.

She didn’t know his name. He didn’t know her name. They were just strangers who were strangely in love. Their hearts were stitched.

Like a rag doll they were left aside.

Weeks passed and she asked the nurse again if she could see the boy.

The nurse held the girls hand, touched her cheek and said that he had passed away.
The girl froze in distress, her heart melted away, her sorrows fell down, her body sank below.

She couldn’t believe it, she didn’t want. She loved the boy as if he was a part of her soul, she loved the boy so much that she wished she could die.

But suicide wasn’t a choice. She had to live to keep his memories.
Memories that meant the world to her, that meant the galaxy and the entire sea.

She cried day and night, the nurse became afraid that one day she might die. She caressed the girl’s hair, took care of her really well.

But her tears won’t stop, eventually, like the boy, the girl passed away.

Breakfast (A Random Poem)

Get up my love,
and brush your teeth.
Head to the kitchen and turn on the heat.
Grab your slices of brown bread and toast it nicely,
Let the sides crisp and then remove it onto a plate carefully.
Don’t forget to turn off the heat!
Spread your favorite butter and jam and then eat.
Fill your tummy with something delicious,
Sure, you’re dieting but don’t let your mom get suspicious.
Clean the plate, dry it and place it back in its rack,
Then tiptoe your way back–
To your room and sleep it off,
until mom comes or your alarm goes off!

Paradise (A Poetry, A Musing)

“I hope for a hereafter, where there would be four rivers,
one of clear water, one of milk, one of honey and one of wine.
a place where there would be high thrones and tall people;
where green silk clothes would be worn, with gold bracelets and crown full of rubies.
Peace will be lingering in the air,
evil will be jealous, its heart blaring as bright as the sun rays.
the sand underneath the feet would be of gems, from emeralds, to sapphire, to topaz and diamonds.
and there would be boys like pearls walking around, their beauty too bashful to perceive, unimaginative to fathom.
a life I want,
a life I dream of.
where every sound is like a soft piano key,
where every heart beat is tranquility.
There would be nothing but what you wish for,
a place filled with possibilites, infinities and everlasting certainties.
Smiles will be on each and every face,
a joyous moment that will never perish.
a place that will never end.
an irresistible beginning that will last forever.
Oh, how I would give anything to stain myself with a piece of heaven,
Oh, I would rather get martyred than die in vain.
everyone asks if there is a life other than this, other than today.
I will say Yes, there is.
A Nirvana that will be a thousand times better than your lousy Saturdays.
You wont be sad,
you wont be hurt,
you’ll only feel glad,
you’ll be overflowing with mirth.”

My Favorite Organization

Heck, I can’t choose a favorite organization because each of the organizations have their own purpose and goals, that too all for the good. Choosing a particular organization isn’t right or fair. They all must be respected for their good deeds and hard work equally.

These organizations inspire me, and I can’t help but dream of joining one myself when I grow up a little more. I bet it must feel great to support a cause, to help the people in need, to fight for what’s right. I want to feel that goodness, I want to be a part of something virtuous and banish the evil!

Okay, that was too much, but you got my point, right? I would choose any organization as long as it works according to its rules and doesn’t involve vain or vile things.
With that, I have said what I needed to. Now that I’ve talked about this, its time I add ‘Join an Organization’ in my bucket list.

What about you guys?
Which Organization do you want to join and why?

What is your favorite writing tool?

Do you only use the computer, or do you still love pen and paper?

Well, as for me, I’m used to only writing on my laptop or my phone. I’ve tried writing on the paper and I’ve realized that I am able to write creatively, but the process is slow. I’m not able to pour out 500 words in ten-fifteen minutes on the paper. Also, I get distracted very easily and I end up drawing on the paper instead of writing. So, that became a ‘No-No’ for me.

Although I love typewriters as much as any writer, the only disadvantage it has, is that it creates a lot of noise…Like how am I able to write with so much ‘tak tak’ sounds at night? My family would be annoyed by it (lol)

What about you guys? What is your favorite writing tool? Comment below to let me know!

My Life: Ramblings Of My Mind

Good morning guys, I hope you all are having a great day! I deeply apologize for not being able to update my blog regularly like I used to. Reason being that my hands and mind is on a tight schedule. I won’t disclose what I’ve been doing since I don’t really like to brag about myself, but I finally decided to at least boost my blog with this mini post and in flow let you know that I am still alive!

Life hasn’t been easy these past couple of days. Sometimes hope rises, sometimes it crashes. Sometimes there are good news, other times, no news (which is also good news, but it only makes the heart restless) We human beings are created with so little patience. It’s pretty hard to suppress your feelings and put on a smiling face but you do it anyway. I kept and keep telling myself that everything will be alright because I do believe that everything WILL turn out alright and that a road without any oil spill or thorny bushes is right ahead of me. All you have to do is keep going, no matter how hard it is for you, or how exhausted you are. You GOTTA keep walking. You HAVE to reach your destination. You can’t book a ticket and not get on the plane, right?

I’ve been staying strong and I’ve been trying to move forward with all my might. Sometimes (most often) I just want to close everything and lay down on my bed and just doze off to another world. But you know what stops me from doing that? Guilt. Yes, the moment I spend ten or twenty minutes doing nothing, I start to feel guilty that I’ve been wasting my time and that I could’ve at-least written three to five hundred words in those ten-twenty precious minutes…

Don’t even ask how I or the other writers are surviving. We’re always the one chasing, and remarkably the ones catching too. We are a game of cat and mouse itself.
Alas, there’s nothing anyone can do to get us out of our messy situation.

But you know what? With Hardship comes Ease.
That’s the beauty of it.
That’s the sole purpose of tiring ourselves. We need that satisfaction. That rare feeling of happiness that seldom blooms. Only those who don’t give up midway can taste that sweetness of success. Only those who don’t stop doing what they are meant to do can at long last sleep continually for days and wake up knowing that “OMG YASS!” They have done it.

Nevertheless, it doesn’t stop there.
No, that merriment, that seventh heaven feeling is only there for a few days because knock knock, another project, another story, another venture is on your door.

That’s Life.
Or you could say, that’s the life of a writer.

But I’m pretty sure all those who’re working; be it freelancer or plain 9-5 business individuals, they go through the same emotions and stages as we do.
Perhaps they have more severe episodes, or maybe less, nonetheless, what matters is that we stay strong, we hold on, we don’t drown, and we move on until we see the break of dawn.

Anyhow, I’m sorry for rambling but I also feel good to just spill my feelings and thoughts here. My head and heart feel light and possibly, I can take a nice little power nap and then wake up refreshed and get up to work! (Like a miner)

I want you guys to stay persistent too! Don’t give up! Never!
If you do, I guarantee that you’ll regret it. If not more, at the least an ants weight you’ll regret it.

Do. Not. Give. Up.

May your dreams come true!

That’s all I’ll say for today. Thank you to all those who’ve read this, understood this, pondered upon my words and were glad to see me post again.
I’ll try to be active on my blog! (No promises though, I don’t like making promises that I know I can’t keep)

Peace neighbors,

See you in my next post~
