Mini Review of J-Hope’s Daydream MV
Okay, so as you all know and most of you all don’t know, I’m an honest person and I don’t like to lie about little things, so I won’t lie about this MV either. Honestly, I didn’t feel anything while watching it. The moment I played the video, I kinda hoped it would end soon because at first, I wasn’t sure what I was watching and why but don’t worry, it got clear after a few minutes of video.
I couldn’t feel the J-Hope vibe on this one, that’s for sure. I don’t know what I was expecting but there was definitely something missing…something I can’t put my finger on. Perhaps, it’s the beat or the lyrics, nonetheless, I watched it because it’s our Hope, J-Hope and I like him and he’s such a great rapper and dancer. I didn’t want to miss out on it.
The concept is quite obvious. That he’s daydreaming, and I didn’t see any flaws in J-Hope or his style or attitude; like I said, something seemed missing and if you guys can help me know what it was, I would be much gratified. Though, I like the chorus tune. It’s light and easy to remember. Okay, so it isn’t the lyrics that’s missing from this amazing piece that J-Hope worked so hard in because the lyrics were good and now that I rewatched the MV, my body grooved a little at the end.
I’m thinking of keeping J-Hope’s ‘Wake up’ as my alarm now…
Anyway, the MV had some pretty cool and simple effects but I have mixed feelings on whether I like this song or not. Maybe if I keep listening to it, I might be able to like it in the future but I’m surely gonna add it in my playlist!
See you in my next post~
